Best OMEN HP 17-inch Gaming Laptop

Searching for your next gaming device can be challenging in todays market. When it was time for me to choose between a traditional desktop or a labtop i decided to go with a Laptop this time around. I chose to purchase a HP OMEN laptop. In my experience with my hp 17 inch gaming laptop theres are not many pros and cons between my choice. I will discuss some pros and cons from my experience as a buyer.

A 17 inch gaming laptop you are getting a bigger screen to view the virtual world as a gamer. The bigger 17 inch gaming screen allows for a better experience in my opinion. The only con is that your laptop may be a bit bulkier from a 15 inch gaming labtop screen.

This 17 inch gaming laptop is equipped with a 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H Processor, 6-Core, 2.2GHz up to 4.1GHz. Very capable of handing all the online gaming content in 2021.

I would like to discuss some of the pros and cons to this particular 17 inch gaming laptop. The mobility is great when you need to travel to a friends and link up, work on the go , or travel to families. The technology that’s available to gaming laptops is just as good as the best gaming pc in 2021. Cons is that you pay more for the best hardware in a laptop. I’m constantly thinking I might drop my laptop when I’m on the go, which is a bit scary because of the investment. The investment in this Omen was a great choice and I would purchase it again.

The only downside is that the pc has 128gb ssd rather that 256 ssd for booting. This in 2018 is very little, I only have PUBG in the boot drive and I have 34gb left. So all my other games go to hdd.

Setting that aside this is a monster pc, with perfomance to the extreem. You get the full gtx 1060 experience with good thermals for the perfomance it gives at max cpu capacity.

This comes at a small acoustic sacrifice-fans get noticeable when gaming heavy titles. But your temps will max 85 degrees “no undervoling” this is better than my other counterpart laptops that go 98 on full load. Keyboard is beautiful, but the rgb is fixed in zones . The monitor is soooooo good, the best for quality colors and perfect viewing angles +its 144hz panel ,yes not 60 not 120 but 144hz. You can never go wrong. It’s a little on the heavy side but not as heavy as some similar class laptops. Aw. For the price, you are making a good choice. And the future is bright for you as you have thunderbolt 3, for future gpu hookup., incase gtx 1060 goes young., your cpu, I can say it still has 10 years, . So for a desktop replacement this is great, much better than actual desktop for my liking,. Hope this helps.
